If the goal of your road trip is to enjoy the destination, then take the interstate. If the goal is to enjoy the journey, then STAY OFF OF THE INTERSTATE. I feel like the most boring parts of any state in the US are the corridors that the interstate highways run through. They are all straight and flat and surrounded by nothing. That's why they put the interstates there...

I’ve lived in Georgia for a long time, but I’m originally from New England and I just could not get through this video because of the skew against small states. Just let me to question the entire list, as really this is a hard thing to rank unless you do in proportion to total area or something. I also have trouble Imagining someplace without oceans, large lakes, or some sort of topography to be beautiful. I don’t think I’m gonna get through this video.

I did skip through to see what the top were and Georgia is number four? I’m really not convinced. it seems just about as nice nature wise as Connecticut, it’s just many many times larger. So proportionally not that different. And CT weather is much better.

Copenhagen is very flat. Some actually say it only has one hill 🙂 But even if the country doesn't have big mountains it's by no means a flat country! At the last ice age some icebergs made some quite hilly hills! I live in the second biggest city of Denmark (Aarhus) and it's quite hilly! There are parts of Denmark that are flat and some that are hilly.

Thanks for making a video about our capital. I enjoyed it. I noticed that you didn't find a lot of negatives in Copenhagen, but a major gripe I have with the city is the cycling infrastructure itself. Sure, it's extensive and accessible, but it's often designed without care or attention to detail, unlike in the Netherlands. You will rarely find separated bike lanes, even if there would be more than enough space for them. It's also not guaranteed that there will be curbed bike lanes, and the city is not afraid of using paint instead of developing permanent solutions. At intersections, curbed bike lanes are often merged with left-turn lanes, which is ridiculously scary and anti-human. In Copenhagen, there are also a lot of traffic signals and only a few roundabouts, meaning you will find yourself stopping at intersections a lot of the time. Bike lanes also rarely curve around bus stops, so you will be forced to stop whenever people get in or out of a bus next to you. The city is also lacking in great parking facilities. You'll mostly only find outdoor racks with neighbouring bicycles clinging to each other annoyingly because there's not a lot of space between the rack slots. The rack slots are also ridiculously narrow, making it impossible to park bicycles with thick wheels. In the Netherlands, they started building big underground parking garages for bicycles to protect them against potential theft and weather (rusting is an issue). Copenhagen is also too addicted to hook turns, which isn't the safest left-turning manoeuvre. In general, the design choices of the cycling infrastructure are questionable. Please do not mistake Copenhagen for the cycling utopia it claims to be. It's good but not exceptional. Additionally, car lanes are unnecessarily wide. H.C. Andersen Boulevard stands as a great example of this.

Judging by the comments, people are missing the point. It's about entertainment and not so much about scenery. Well known museums, national parks, amusement parks like Disney World, NFL, or MLB Hall of Fame. I agree with his list totally, including WV. I live in Indiana and originally from Detroit. Indiana sucks totally for entertainment and no major attractions to see or do. Attending a family funeral is more fun than what Indiana offers. While WV might be a rural version of Detroit, in my defense of Detroit, the city really is getting nice again. Still has a ways to go, though.

I'm impressed that you went further than the city center to outer Nørrebro ( where I live), Vesterbro and Frederiksberg. So many tourists only see Nyhavn and the high street but the further you get away from the down town area the cooler and more relaxed it gets. Its where the locals hangs out and the shops are more interesting and the food is cheaper. Hope you enjoyed your stay here in Denmark 😊😊

China’s RMB is different color and the different denominations are different sizes depending upon their value. My wife who is Chinese was recently surprised to discover that the watermark inside smaller denominations than 100 is not Mao but different flowers when we were talking about money with our six year old son. Her friends were shocked too. I guess no one bothers to check for fakes in anything less than 100?

I have lived in the Indy metro area most of my life, and unless you are within walking distance of downtown, there isn’t much to do. Parks outside of the downtown area aren’t that great (unless you go north where the money is) and it is hard to feel safe (outside of a vehicle) when you travel too far east, west, or south. I would highly recommend staying inside at night unless you are in one of the main areas of bar hopping. That is where police presence is highest. Otherwise you may see a mugger around the corner (this could just be me being overly cautious, or the fact that I have known people to be mugged, weapon pulled on them at night when venturing outside of the main party areas).

I'm from the Netherlands and I've been watching the channel for some time now, but the response "Amsterdam" and "Somewhere in the Netherlands" is funny to me. The Dutch consider Amsterdam to be more like a theme park. Where any non Dutch person would choose Amsterdam, the Dutch would choose Utrecht. The "somewhere in the Netherlands" quote is funny because there is quite a difference depending on where you live. Also, after having seen much of the United States on your channel (and having been to the midwest myself), the Netherlands is incredibly boring by comparison.

Worked in LA for 8 years…lived the singles life in NB….loved SD…not so much LA. Married at 30 and deadheaded back to NC to raise my children. Thank you, thank you, thank you for bringing some factual valid sensible points up on new mexico as a whole and as a state, im tired of people dissing new mexico with false exaggerated information, i defend this state because just like you, I LOVE IT! And to me there is no better state in the United States that can top it, it has such a good spiritual vibe about it, new mexico will soon be my new residence in about 7 more years when i start receiving my retirement checks, im originally from texas but i moved to arizona more than 20 years ago, arizona has been contaminated with crazy californians and new yorkers and so has my home state texas, im sick of these people, half of them are psychos and drug attics, you cant even encounter normal sane people anymore in these states cause they're all outsiders, it looks like they're all high on drugs and have worse dementia than an 80 year old and the crime rate is growing because of that, i want to be around mentally sane people and new mexico is the state where i can find that, im glad outsiders are not invading it like other states are being invaded, hopefully it will stay that way, as a hispanic female i don't want to be around theives and criminal gang thugs like the ones in Detroit burning down buildings and destroying cities nor be around hateful racists like the ones in some southern states that kill or harm people because of their ethnicity, nor around drug infested hipi bums, there is no room for these kinds of people in new mexico, so hopefully they will stay out, i would like new mexico state to continue with its beautiful multilingual, hispanic and indigenous cultural traditions, this is what makes the state special, unique, sane and peaceful because of its wonderful ethnic people that keep it that way, i have no problem with international immigrants residing in new mexico due to their cultural morals and values knowing that they would benefit and enrich new mexico with that, believe it or not but new mexico is protected and blessed by native american spirits, the land of enchantment is guided by the ancestral spirits of the original forfathers of the land, i can feel it, every time i go and visit new mexico, i can feel the ghostly spirits of the ancient people through the singing of new mexicos wind, its majestically haunting in such a spiritual way, im inspired by the beauty of the land of enchantment, its mesmerizing

Copenhagen was a fortified city surrounded by bastions and a moat up to around 1857 when the pulling down of the fortifications on the Zealand side was commenced. There are actually not a great deal of very old buildings left in Copenhagen today. The medieval part of Copenhagen (pre-1857 Copenhagen) suffered a few very large fires in 1728, 1795 and 1807 so while there are some buildings left pre-1728, there are not a lot. The remnants of the moat that once surrounded Copenhagen may be found in Tivoli Gardens, H. C. Ørsted Park, Botanic Garden and Østre Anlæg. Part of the original moat and bastions may be found on the Amager island side just. This may be experienced at Christiania at the end facing the moat area. The underground metro has helped a lot in lowering car traffic in Copenhagen. Digging tunnels for the metro has proven to be a little lengthy at times because they keep running into things of historic value that needs preserving before they can continue. Copenhagen has changed a lot over the years. The Copenhagen of my childhood in the end of the 1960s was very different from what it is today.
